5th Sunday Specials

Every year, four months have a 5th Sunday.  This occurs once each quarter. On those dates, at 7:00 p.m., there is a special Sunday Evening Program focused primarily on outreach, missions, evangelism, apologetics, and other areas of Biblical concern.

Preparation Service

Prior to the Sunday Morning celebration of the Lord’s Table (see below), a special service of preparation is held on Friday at 7:00 p.m.  This service replaces the normal Wednesday evening Prayer Meeting, which is cancelled during the week in which the Preparation Service is held.

Annual Activities

May Fair: Saturday before Memorial Day

  • Church rents booth to distribute Gospel Literature, invitations for BPC Summer Bible School and Faith Christian School.

Independence Day Parade: July 4th –

  • Banner and Bible School “Float”, distributing tracts, invitations to Summer Bible School, and Faith Christian School information.

Summer Bible School –

  • 1st two full weeks after July 4th – every evening 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Reformation Sunday –

  • Last Sunday in October – Special services.
  • Reformation Eve – October 31st
  • Church Dinner / Activities (5:30-9:00 p.m.)

Holiday Parade –

  • First Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Nativity float, “shepherds, angels & Wise Men” from the church distribute tracts and flyers with information about Christmas Concert and other special Christmas events at the church, and Faith Christian School.

New Year’s Eve Watch-Night Service – Dec. 31st (6:00 p.m. – Midnight)

  • Covered dish supper, New Year’s message, special program, prayer vigil to enter the New Year with God’s people rather than with the world.
